WAYMOR SPORTS, Vice President of Construction

Mike is a performance driven leader who directs WAYMOR construction projects, from initial bid to completion, maintaining project costs, deliverables, schedules, and quality control for every project. Mike excels at managing estimators, project managers, and superintendents, while maintaining customer satisfaction. He will spearhead the development, communication, and implementation of construction growth strategies and processes. In his role, Mike is responsible for:

BlueSky Restoration Contractors, Chief Operating Officer

Mike had full P&L responsibility for all active construction operations, including organizational development and leadership. He lead pipeline and client development, while overseeing all cap ex for the company. He also oversaw performance metrics and operational efficiency improvements and he grew EBITDA by $95MM in 7 years (27% CAGR), via 10 acquisitions and organic growth. Mike drove margin expansion through execution efficiency and he put infrastructure, processes, and technology in place to drive significant operating leverage.

BlueSky Restoration Contractors, National Vice President of Operations

Mike oversaw and directed day-to-day execution of all active construction operations and activity, including corporate and individual office oversight to ensure execution per the business plan and company profitability.

RES Americas, Senior Project Manager

Mike grew and developed the self-perform construction division, including heavy earthwork, roadway construction, underground utilities, foundations, electrical and building infrastructure for wind and solar projects throughout U.S. and Canada.

Kinney Construction Services, Inc., Division Manager

Mike developed the company’s civil construction division of 25 employees, which included the estimating department, project management, field superintendents, and self-perform crews. He also directed and oversaw all project and field management for site development, utility infrastructure, roadway, and commercial construction projects..

Mike grew and developed the self-perform construction division, including heavy earthwork, roadway construction, underground utilities, foundations, electrical and building infrastructure for wind and solar projects throughout U.S. and Canada.

Personal Anchors

Mike has always loved construction and every aspect of the process. While getting his civil engineering degree, he knew he wanted to take his technical expertise and take it to the construction field. Mike is a proud husband of 25 years and the father of 4 boys. He’s an avid cyclist and fly fisherman and he’s very active in his church. He especially enjoys working with the youth of his church.
