During that time, Kim has always strived to lift up women of all races, cultures, and backgrounds; providing each of them an opportunity to discover their best self, to shine like never before, and to create a foundation for their success.

With an illustrious pageant career that began when she was crowned Miss Virginia USA, Kim has stood at the helm of her production company, redefining beauty standards, inspiring dreams, and uplifting young women from across the Commonwealth of Virginia and beyond, setting the stage for a more inclusive and empowering future. Kim orchestrated every detail of the show productions, from contestant recruiting to the final crownings and every single detail in between. Her keen business sense ensured that her productions transcended mere competitions, becoming platforms for empowerment and self-expression.

Kim’s journey is one of ambition, dedication, and a deep-rooted sense of character. Raised in the heart of a Virginia family of accomplished coal miners, she reflects the values of hard work, determination, and commitment from her upbringing.

Her desire to turn dreams into reality is a reflection of the perseverance of her family legacy, transitioning from successful coal-mining roots to re-shaping the lush Bristol, Virginia hills into a premiere golf course (The Virginian) and wine and travel destination (Nicewonder Farm & Vineyards).

Beyond the fairways and vineyards, Kim took the state by storm as a beacon of grace and intelligence, earning the coveted title of Miss Virginia USA within the esteemed Miss USA pageant system. Her journey in the pageant world wasn't just about beauty though. For her, it was about people, as evidenced by her peers awarding her the title of Miss Congeniality, not just once, but twice; both at the state level and at nationals, which is something that hadn't been accomplished before she did it.
